The meeting "Groups and Topological Groups" will take place on 3 – 4 February 2017 in Budapest at the Institute of Mathematics of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. The conference will bring together expert from group theory in a wide sense, including abstract algebra, discrete mathematics, module theory and the theories of Lie, algebraic and topological groups.
